George Adams With more than 25 years experience George has worked for the BBC, Carlton Television, Golden Square Pictures and Granada Television overseeing more than 200Hrs of television production. George came to Melbourne in 2000 and accepted a position as Head of Production for Granada Australia. He established GAP Media in 2002 developing Bed of Roses for the ABC and producing Outback Opera for the ABC. He was also an Executive Producer on the hugely successful film Wolf Creek and his wealth of knowledge lead him to the role of Completion Guarantor, overseeing many of the major film and television productions over 9 years including Japanese Story, Hating Alison Ashley and Animalia. George returned to Producing Drama in 2010 with the very successful Australia on Trial. George went on to create the hit ABC show The Doctor Blake Mysteries, and is currently Producing its fifth season.
Elizabeth Collins Liz began her career as a Development Producer for Granada Australia. There she developed a slate of 15 programs, and worked on the documentaries Outback Opera for the ABC and Galleries of Life for Channel 7. She is responsible for building the documentary production arm of GAP Media and in 2009 she won the Gold Panda Award for Best Society Concern Documentary at the Sichuan TV Festival for her directorial debut 'Dance Like Nobody's Watching' which she produced and funded independantly. She is currently Story Editing on a brand new 13-part Television Drama Series, and Producing a new Factual Entertainment Series starring Kate Ceberano. "Documentary production is my passion, specifically within the areas of human rights and social commentary."
